The Biogena Scientific Team publishes its own wound healing study

10. April 2017, Redaktion, Research

Wound healing is a complex process where immunological defenses and endogenous structure- and regeneration-related processes must flawlessly interact with each other. Here, micronutrients such as vitamins and minerals play a key role. In autumn and winter 2015/2016, the Biogena Scientific Team conducted an intervention study, examining the effect of a micronutrient preparation with bromelain on the healing of chronic wounds. The study, conducted under the direction of Dr. Ina Viebahn, showed psoitive results: with a targeted supply of certain micronutrients, the patients showed a significantly improved wound healing.

We at Biogena are glad about the positive results and congratulate the Scientitic Team to its success!
