Recipe of the month: Bowel-soothing crispbread

Recipe: Bowel-soothing crispbread
(1 dl = 100 ml measuring cup)

  • 1 dl sunflower seeds
  • 1 dl pumpkin seeds
  • 1 dl linseed
  • 0,5 dl chia seeds
  • 0,5 dl psyllium husks
  • 1 dl spelt flakes
  • 3,5 dl spelt flour
  • 1 handful of chopped walnuts
  • 1 dl oil (take your favourite oil, such as olive oil, linseed oil, walnut oil)
  • 2 dl water
  • 1/2 tsp salt


Bake 15 to 20 minutes at 200 degrees (keep an eye on the crispbread and turn the temperature down a bit if it becomes too brown).

Note: This is a Swedish recipe, because crispbread has its origins there. For this reason, the amounts are indicated in decilitres and not in grams (which is common practice in German-speaking countries). But it is really easy: simply take a measuring cup and add, for example, 1 dl = 100 ml sunflower seeds, 1 dl pumpkin seeds and so on.
