Biogena Coralicea® – essential minerals from sea corals
Far away from the living reef of Okinawa, in deep, dark waters where corals cannot grow or live, the seabed itself consists of fossilized coral grains. The Okinawa sango corals are harvested there using environmentally friendly methods. Biogena Coralicea® combines the minerals calcium and magnesium from original Okinawa Sango corals with natural bamboo sprout extract (Bambusa arundinacea) containing silicon and the trace elements copper, iron and zinc.
Physiological importance of some selected vital substances contained:
• Zinc contributes to the maintenance of normal skin, hair and nails
• Copper contributes to the maintenance of normal connective tissue and normal hair pigmentation. Furthermore it helps protect the cells against oxidative stress
• Calcium is important for cell division
• Together with magnesium, calcium is required for the maintenance of normal bones
The coral powder contained comes exclusively from fossil corals. Neither living corals nor nature are harmed during the coral harvest. Therefore, this high-quality raw material is vegan.
