Calcium – the bone mineral
The human body contains approximately one kilo of calcium, which is almost entirely found in the bones. This distribution reflects the importance of this mineral for the skeleton. However, calcium is not just indispensable for hard bones. It is also needed for strong tooth structures and the functioning of muscles and nerves. The combination with vitamin D is essential for a normal uptake and utilisation of this mineral.
Calcin 250: With natural calcium from fossil marine corals
Calcin 250 combines the micronutrient duo calcium and vitamin D in a balanced ratio in one capsule. Fossil Sango corals, which are harvested from the seabed off the coast of the Japanese island of Okinawa and gently processed, serve as the source of the natural calcium. Sustainability plays an important role with this raw material. The harvest is therefore strictly controlled to protect the environment, which is why it can be ruled out that living coral reefs or nature are damaged.
In addition to coral calcium, Calcin 250 contains vitamin D3, which is extracted from cultivated algae in Europe in the highest quality and purity. Thus, vegetarians or vegans are also offered a high-quality and sustainable way to increase their calcium and vitamin D intake.
