The eyes are the most important sensory organs for us human beings. 80 % of our impressions are captured by our eyes and thereby creating an exact image of the world around us. However, as we grow older we can find it increasingly difficult to read, watch TV or even recognise faces. This is not only a result of the normal aging process but also caused by so called “free radicals”, which, for instance, can be created by UV radiation and lead to oxidative stress. Therefore, it is essential to support and maintain our eyesight as good as possible. Biogena MaculaPlex® was developed with this in mind and contains micronutrients that support the eye and can maintain eyesight. It contains two perfectly matched individual preparations and is based on the current state of science: MaculaPlex® 1 contains a combination of micronutrients with antioxidative properties complemented by the omega-3 fatty acids contained in MaculaPlex® 2, and thus can play a comprehensive role in maintaining normal vision.

• Contains a combination of antioxidative micronutrients and the omega-3 fatty acid DHA (docosahexaenoic acid)
